Accessible design
Inclusive design in essential services. A practical guide for firms and suppliers, written by Bailey Kursar for the Money Advice Trust and Fair By Design and published in 2021, suggests: ‘Accessible design is about considering if your product can be accessed by all, particularly those with needs different to the majority.’
Where accessibility relates to:
- ‘The qualities that make an experience open to all.
- A professional discipline aimed at achieving No. 1.
To focus on accessibility as a designer means making sure that everyone can access and use your product or service, especially those with disabilities.’
